Early Childhood Early Intervention Services

Early Childhood Early Intervention Services

The Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) program is a national program funded by the NDIS to support families and their children under seven who have a developmental delay or disability. There are proposed changes to increase this age to children of nine years. The program aims to provide additional support in the early years to help children develop their skills to maximise their chances for independence. The program also provides parents, carers and families with the knowledge, skills and specialist support to better understand their child's needs, to assist with their child’s development and to participate in family and community life with increased engagement and a chance for independence.
